The Raven

‘Nevermore – Nevermore quoth the Raven’

A reminder of the terrors beset creatures in polluted waters and the carelessness of humans discarding waste.

A silken Raven wrought now a ghost upon the floor. I found the dead bird on the shores of Newlyn Cornwall after a recent storm.

The Raven was cast alongside the rubbish bins, its crest wrapped in fishing wire with beak facing skywards.
